Matthew Hood is a associate in Orrick's Public Finance team in the Washington, D.C. office, with a practice focused on multifamily housing finance. Matt regularly serves as bond and underwriter's counsel on tax-exempt and taxable multifamily housing finance transactions. He has closed hundreds of affordable housing financing transactions, particularly 4% low-income housing tax credit (LIHTC) and 501(c)(3) affordable housing projects. Matt also works with Orrick's Structured Finance team on tax-exempt bond and loan securitization transactions. Prior to joining Orrick, Matt practiced at an affordable housing and public finance boutique law firm in Washington, D.C.
